About Us

Calvary Christian School exists to assist parents in raising their children in the nurture and admonition of the Lord. While the home holds the primary responsibility for the upbringing of children, CCS serves as an extension of the home, partnering with families to support and reinforce the spiritual training already taking place in both the home and the church.

Since its founding, CCS has been committed to training and equipping students to grow in the same way as our Lord Jesus Christ, as described in Luke 2:52—in wisdom, in stature, in favor with God, and in favor with man. In partnership with parents, CCS strives to help each student grow academically (wisdom), physically (stature), spiritually (in Christ), and socially (favor with others). These goals are further outlined in the Student and Parent Elementary and High School Handbooks.

Every part of the CCS educational program is designed to fulfill this mission. Spiritually, students are encouraged through weekly chapel services, Bible memory programs, discipleship groups, annual retreats, and Spiritual Emphasis Week. Academically, students are taught by dedicated Christian educators using a strong, Bible-based curriculum. Socially, students are guided to live in a way that reflects Christian character, with discipline approached through Biblical principles.

Through its programs, facilities, and dedicated staff, Calvary Christian School seeks to develop well-
rounded students who are prepared to grow, serve, and honor Christ in every area of life.
